Mr. Hyder is an Engineer, Entrepreneur, and Chairman of Synthetic Products Enterprises Ltd (SPEL), a company established in 1978. SPEL is amongst the 100 fast growth companies in Pakistan and amongst the 500 fast growth companies in Arabia/Turkey. His company specializes in manufacturing Plastic Products, especially Parts for the Auto Industry and Packaging for FMCG Sector. The company also houses the largest CNC Mold Making Facility in the country.

Almas Hyder is also a Director of EDAS Entrepreneurship Development and Advisory Services (PVT) Ltd, a training and consulting company having a history of over 20 years in Entrepreneurship Development and Mentoring. He has created institutions and linkages to develop SMEs in the country. He is a Master Trainer for Entrepreneurship Development Program-Developed by MSI, which has been conducted in several Universities, and Executive Development Programs. He has trained over 400 entrepreneurs.
