Starting out with a Bachelors Degree in Economics, History and English Literature FSJ as he is commonly known brings 30 years of experience in advertising, Television, 3G telephony and digital publishing to his current role as Director of National Incubation Centre Lahore at LUMS University.
Having invested in and actively worked with startup businesses in the last three years FSJ is a key evangelizer for creating high growth businesses that impact our communities. The use of 4th Industrial wave technology is critical to scale and that is the fundamental thesis FSJ brings to his role as mentor of entrepreneurs stepping up to the challenge of recognizing problems and creating solutions for them.
Imran Ahmed Khan - Co-founder
A passionate designer and entrepreneur, co-founder of BaseH and Noshn Advertising Agency (noshn.com).
Creative head with more than 20 years of experience in advertising, digital media, exhibitions etc. Holds Degree in Graphic Design and Communications from University of Hertfordshire, UK.
Have successfully created various brand identities, advertising campaigns and websites for several major and highly prestigious corporates and Government institutions including Official Website of The State of Kuwait (Diwan Amiri), Kuwait Fund, Capital Markets Authority, Public Authority for Industry, Zain Telecom, Alghanim Industries, Kuwait Airways, Kuwait International Bank, Al Yasra group (Ontime/Trinkets), Noor Capital Markets etc.
Khurram Schehzad - Co-founder
Khurram is an Investment Banker by profession, an avid Finance & Economics professional and an accomplished individual who has served in various leadership roles across key financial disciplines i.e. Investment Research, Investment Banking, Equity Broking, Financial Advisory/Consultancy and Asset Management.
He was ranked as one of the Top Analysts in Pakistan (by CFA Society) consecutively for 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2011-12, based on quality research, spot-on accuracy, client service quality through investment value creation. He also received extensive credits by “ASIAMONEY” for valuable research-backing in relation to the Best Debt House 2010 award by the ranking journal to his employer.
Khurram has worked on all the recent Privatisation transactions worth USD 1.7 billion as the Youngest Board Member of the Privatisation Commission of Pakistan, Ministry of Finance (PC, MoF). He has also served on the Board of Investment (BoI) as one of the Youngest Members of BoI's Executive Committee for a valuable contribution to country’s overall investment policy making in key sectors of the economy.
Khurram holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance with the distinction of 'Gold Medalist' (Magna cum Laude), and is a CFA Level 3 Candidate 2018. He is planning for PhD in Financial Economics in 2019.
Anis Shiekh - Founder and CEO
Anis is an AI enthusiast and a financial industry journalist. He seeks to bring together the best of both worlds by integrating the power of AI and financial reporting. Anis started his career as a software developer and subsequently developed many financial applications for leading stock exchanges and brokerage houses. While taking an extended break from industry he worked as business journalist, editor and anchor where he started to develop a software which could convert financial data into news reports and one of the earliest AI writing software was born. He worked on the software for a few years himself before roping in three co-founders and formally founding baseH.
